Taste of Bethesda Draws Crowds

October 8, 2013

Between 38,000 and 40,000 people walked the streets of Woodmont Triangle on Saturday during the annual Taste of Bethesda. The Bethesda Urban Partnership’s Stephanie Coppula said the estimate is an improvement on last year’s attendance, which was between 30,000 and 35,000. The summer-like weather certainly helped. In 2011, with wet and cold conditions, the event drew between 15,000 and 18,000. The event last reached the 40,000 figure in 2010. (BN)
