Washington is Going Green

Eleven Washington-area organizations found a place on a list of the top 50 users of green power, accounting for more than 20 percent of the ranking compiled by the Environmental Protection Agency. The U.S. Department of Energy ranked 6th — highest among Washington-area organizations — with 698 million kilowatt hours of annual green power used. Intel Corp., for the fifth year in a row, ranked first, with usage of 3.1 billion kilowatt hours annually. (WBJ)
