Smithsonian Folklife Festival Begins Today

June 26, 2013

The Smithsonian Folklife Festival begins today. This year’s festival celebrates Hungary, endangered languages, and African American style and identity. Stop by throughout the day to catch a glimpse of Hungarian song and dance, learn a little Welsh or Yiddish, or gaze at some fetching church hats. All day on the National Mall. Free.
